Taking Matters In His Own Hands



      Aaron Ashmore and his twin brother, Shawn, may have made it into People magazine's latest Sexiest People edition -- but Ashmore makes it clear it was not his good looks that landed him the role of "Jimmy Olsen" this season on "Smallville." "Nobody's giving anything away in this town," says the former "Veronica Mars" actor, adding that's OK with him. "I like that -- having to prove myself." To land his current gig, he recalls, "I put myself on tape while I was in Toronto - A couple of weeks later I got the call saying, 'You got the job.'"
