"I was in Toronto visiting my family and friends when I heard about the audition for Jimmy Olsen. They [the casting people] wanted me to put my audition on tape and send it down to them in Los Angeles. That's when I began to think, 'They'll probably want to hire an actor they can see in the room and actually work with.' However, I read the sides and loved the role, so I knew I had to go for it. I did an audition tape, sent it to LA, and then didn't hear anything for almost ten days. That's when I got a call asking if I'd like to fly to Vancouver the next day and play Jimmy Olsen. So it was one of those out-of-the-blue-type offers and I couldn't have been happier."
