The CW just released several hi-res promotional images from the upcoming
"Noir" episode of Smallville. Amung the images are six
different shots of Aaron as Jimmy Olsen. These pictures have been added to
the gallery
under Smallville promos.
"Noir" airs on Thursday, May 3 at 8PM/7PMc. The official
description has also been released, and it sounds like a great one.
IN A SPECIAL FILM NOIR EPISODE SHOT PARTIALLY IN BLACK AND WHITE, JIMMY SEES WHAT LIFE IN SMALLVILLE WOULD HAVE BEEN LIKE IN THE 1940s - After a secret meting with Lionel (John Glover), Lana (Kristin Kreuk) is shot at the Daily Planet by a mysterious gunman. Jimmy (Aaron Ashmore) is knocked out while studying photographs of the scene and dreams about a 1940s version of Smallville in which Lana is a femme fatale who orchestrated the murder of her tycoon husband Lex (Michael Rosenbaum), Clark (Tom Welling) works at the Daily Planet as a reporter and Lois (Erica Durance) is a sultry singer working at a bar owned by Lionel. Meanwhile, back in 2007, Clark discovers why Lana married Lex. Allison Mack and Annette O'Toole also star. Brian Peterson & Kelly Souders wrote the episode directed by Jeannot Szwarc.

The
Official Palo Alto Trailer has just been released. Click on the link now
to get your first look at the film, premiering at the
Tribeca Film Festival in less then three weeks.
We also managed to capture
40 screencaps from the trailer.
With every passing day we come closer and closer to two milestones here at
Aaron-Ashmore.com. First and foremost, the world premiere of Palo
Alto at the
Tribeca Film Festival on April 29. And secondly, next Friday marks
the One Year Anniversary of this site.
Aaron's next scheduled appearance on Smallville will be on the
May 3 episode, "Noir". Which, while you won't find any spoilers on
this site, I will say that it does sound like a great episode. As far as we
know this will be Aaron's last appearance for this season of Smallville
but don't worry fans, Aaron will be returning in Season 7 continuing
his role as Jimmy Olsen.
Added a few more
Behind the Scenes images from
Palo Alto to the gallery. They aren't exactly new, but much higher
res versions of some other stills.
Be on the lookout for issues #20 (the Yearbook Edition) and #21 of
Smallville Magazine -- releasing in mid-April and mid-June respectively --
both featuring Aaron on the cover.
