Welcome to Aaron-Ashmore.com the largest and most comprehensive Aaron Ashmore site on the internet. After being frustrated on a day to day basis looking for Aaron news/media/etc. we figured that it was time we get up and actually do something about it. By creating Aaron-Ashmore.com not only would we be able to spread the most up to date news but we'd also be able to promote Aaron and his upcoming projects. This site is still growing so some sections aren't entirely completed yet. Any and all feedback is appreciated. Feel free to contact the us through E-Mail with any questions/comments/suggestions/submissions. :)
As promised, I've added more screencaps from 1-800-Missing. There are now over 130 screencaps from the episode, "Looking For Mr. Wright" in the gallery.
Check back in soon for more screencaps, news on The Thaw, and DVD info on The Stone Angel.
Slow but sure they're coming! Over 50 screencaps from 1-800-Missing's "Off the Grid" have been added to the gallery. Keep checking back as more screencaps will be posted over the next few days.
I just uncovered some early promotional art for The Thaw. According to this, the movie will be releasing sometime in spring 2009, however, please keep in mind that all release dates are subject to change. I've also added another small article about The Thaw to the press section, not a whole lot of anything different then we already know but it gives a little more of the plot. You can read it by clicking here.
As of Monday, production has officially kicked off on The Thaw in Vancouver. You can read a new article about the production in the press section.
In other film news, according to the Official Palo Alto Site, reshoots have been completed and a distribution deal is in the works. As soon as any official dates and information is released you'll be able to read it here. :)

Firstly let me just say Happy Friday the 13th, boys and girls! Now that's said and done let me move on to some more news. According to The Hollywood Reporter Aaron has been cast in a new movie The Thaw, in which he will be appearing alongside Val Kilmer.
Anagram Pictures is producing the thriller about an Arctic research team attacked by a killer parasite released by melting polar ice caps. Ashmore will play a college student in the besieged crew.
Hey everyone. I finally got a new laptop, it's shiny and fast and wonderful and I really just kind of want to hug it because I'm sad like that. With a new laptop would normally come some great new things for the site however it did slow me down a bit. I've always been a PC user and I'm now on my first Mac. This basically resulted in me being locked out of my own site for a few days due to trying to figure out some settings on here. It also took a bit of effort to figure out the text editor on here to make any kind of update. Random fact, but the only program used for any of the coding on this site is "Notepad", so everything is essentially just written from scratch without any program. So here I am yelling, "I DO NOT WANT YOUR PAGE BUILDER, SAMMY!" for a few days. I'm better now I swear.
So a while back I actually added quite a few more promotional images from "Sleeper" to the gallery. They're actually in a pretty nice resolution size too, so they're very much worth the look.

Hey there everyone! Believe it or not I actually got the "monthly changeover" done on time for once. I feel accomplished. Speaking of accomplishments, for all of you fans that are on Facebook, I just launched a Fan Page for Aaron. You can join by following the link once you're logged in to show your support. There isn't a whole lot up at the moment, but hopefully within a few days it'll be looking snazzy.
In other news, this site might be going on a slight hiatus within the upcoming weeks. I am going to be moving out of state for work so it might take a while for me to get situated and get a laptop. :)

Today is a little interesting, at least from my perspective, since I'm posting some updates on two movies that probably couldn't be more different from each other if they tried. Deep Cove and Thomas Kinkade's Home for Christmas.
I had a little bit of down time today so I was doing a few internet searches to see if I could uncover anything new and low and behold I found what looks like the official poster for Thomas Kinkade's Home for Christmas. It's not the highest quality resolution in the world but its something that at least I haven't seen before so I thought I'd share. According to Birch Grove Films, the official release date for the movie is November 11, 2008. November 11, however is a Tuesday, films are typically released on Fridays (and occasionally Wednesdays) with few exceptions. A weekday release typically is due to a holidy... Wikipedia is a fun tool boys and girls so I looked up Holidays and Observations on November 11. November 11 is Veterans Day (US), Remembrance Day (Canada), National Twins Day (Taiwan... which... seriously? Twins day?) and Independence Day (Poland), none of which would warrant a Tuesday release. So either someone at Birch Grove Films made a typo or this will actually be heading straight to DVD (hence the Tuesday release date). I'm hoping for the former and not the latter.
Ok so I rambled a lot there, sorry, but anyone that comes to this site on a regular basis is probably already used to me going off on tangents. I'm going to end this update with what looks like the first official production still from Deep Cove. It's a bit spoilery, so you've been warned. The image comes courtesy of Fangoria which also says the filming wraps on May 30th.
So, despite it living on my DVR for over a year, I have just managed to get a copy of Dying to Dance onto my computer. There aren't a lot of screencaps but I have posted them all to the gallery.
So it took me nearly three days of uploading, but I've finally managed to get nearly 400 screencaps from the season finale of Smallville, "Arctic" in the gallery. There were some really great moments in this episode and just in case there's anyone that hasn't seen it yet. I'm going to leave it at that. In case you did miss the finale, it is available for purchase on iTunes. In related news you can now pre-order Smallville the Complete 7th Season on DVD from Amazon.com
I think it's safe to say at this point that Dead End is officially called Deep Cove (once again, I pwn IMDB), which is a good thing since I've added it to the projects sidebar. A new -- and spoiler filled I might add -- article about Deep Cove from The Province has been added to the press section. The article also came with a behind the scenes picture that has been added to the gallery.
In other non-Deep Cove news, The Stone Angel is currently playing in theatres, so if you're in Canada, go check it out. There is now also a US release date for the film as well which is July 11, 2008.
So apparently I'm a horrible website owner and fan and all that jazz since I didn't know that Aaron was in last week's episode of Smallville, "Quest until a few days after it aired. (Since I didn't think he was in it I went out to see Iron Man instead... oops. Sorry folks :-X). Since then, I have been able to watch, get it capped and uploaded and there are now over 150 screencaps in the gallery for your enjoyment and all that jazz. :)
Hey everyone! I have a bit of a natural distrust for IMDB, so I tend not to trust things that are posted on there until I can find another source or confirmation. I am, however, happy to report that Aaron is currently working on a film called Deep Cove (IMDB is at the moment listening it as Dead End but as far as I can tell the title has changed). Aaron's character name is Mark.
Deep Cove - Five students on spring break meet at a secluded island cabin for a weekend getaway. After a night of music, drinking and getting re-acquainted the five friends are shocked to find the cabin's caretaker murdered and the only boat off the island gone. Stranded on the island they become the prey of a mysterious killer who seems bent on revenge for something the friends have done. They must defend themselves and find their tormentor or face death one by one.
This is probably the fastest that I've ever gotten up screencaps. To be honest I'm surprised I'm awake enough to put together this update. You can now find over 150 screencaps from "Apocalypse" in the gallery.
So, just when I was about to post to ashmoreWANK (shameless self-plug, I know) about Jimmy Olsen wearing the same three shirts in rotation we get Jimmy in a tux. Dancing Jimmy in a tux. I sort of loved "Sleeper" in case you can't tell. It was great ti see a more Jimmy-centric episode this season. Over 600 screencaptures have been added to the gallery, which now has over 10,000 images.
A new section has been added to the media section of the site for videos of various appearances that don't quite fall under the "interviews" category. You can find seven different video clips of Aaron at the Grand Slam Sci-Fi Summit by following said links. :)
Once again, thanks to the amazing Donna for sending us an e-mail that Aaron is featured in the Director's Cut for "Sleeper" on the CW Website. I know that some people over seas have issues accessing some of the content on that site so you can also view the clip via YouTube.
I got around to not only capping but uploading over 200 images from the most recent episode of Smallville, "Descent" and added them to the gallery. Is anyone else completely loving all the Jimmy and Lois interaction? Because really, I think it's great. Anyway, remember to tune in next week for another new episode, "Sleeper". Also, while we're talking TiVos and DVRs here, Brave New Girl will be showing on Lifetime this Sunday.
To start things off, I am quite possible the worst webmaster ever. April 13 marked the Second Anniversary of Aaron-Ashmore.com. Yes, that's right. We are officially two years old! And I didn't make a post about it. This was of course partially because I was at the Grand Slam Sci-Fi Summit in Burbank on the 13th... but I had a laptop in the room and opted to play on Facebook instead of sleep that night so, there really isn't much of an excuse. Sorry.
Back to the Grand Slam though, Saturday was a pretty interesting day to say the least. There is a lot of content from the event that I'm slowly working on getting up right now. Over 150 images from the Smallville Super Panel are now in the gallery. I apologize for the quality. I don't have the world's greatest camera and I'm a bit short so it had a tendancy to focus on the head of the person in front of me and not on Aaron. I also added a few general convention pictures of banners and what have you to the Misc. gallery as well as another autograph scan. Some videos and transcripts will be coming soon as well.
So it took a little longer then I initially planned but you can now view over 150 screencaps from Thursday's episode of Smallville "Veritas" in the gallery. Smallville returns to the CW with a new episode, "Descent" on April 17, 2008.
In other Smallville news, be sure to check out Smallville: The Official Companion Season Six, in stores now. In addition to a ton of other information and goodies, the book contains an interview with Aaron, that I will not be posting on the site. Why? So you can run out and buy the book of course. :)
According to Kryptonisite, Aaron will be appearing in next week's episode of Smallville "Veritas". It should be a good one too as this was the tentative season finale during the strike.
Alliance Films has released the Official The Stone Angel Trailer which you can view here. While Aaron is not featured in the trailer, it is still worth the watch. The Stone Angel releases in theatres in Canada on May 9, 2008.
Over 200 screencaps from Thursday night's episode of Smallville, "Hero" have been added to the gallery.

The Stone Angel will be screening at the Female Eye Film Festival in Toronto within the next few weeks. Filmmaker, Kari Skokgland will be honored and presenting the film as well as star Ellen Burstyn. So if you are in the Toronto area, check it out.

Just in case there is anyone out there that hasn't heard the news, I thought that it might bare a little repeating.
Smallville will be returning on The CW for Season 8 in Fall 2008. In addition, Aaron Ashmore will once again be reprising his role as Jimmy Olsen.
With a new episode of Smallville right around the corner ("Hero" airs a week from today), the updates begin rolling in again. For starters, we've undergone our monthly changeovers here at Aaron-Ashmore.com, including moving the updates at the bottom of the page into the archive and changing the Quote of the Month. We have also added a new affiliate link to every page - welcome J-Padalecki.org! Remember you can see Aaron starring along side Jared Padalecki in this winter's Home For Christmas.
We are now also just shy of one month away from the Second Anniversary of Aaron-Ashmore.com as well as Creation's Grand Slam Sci-Fi Summit.

The CW has just released several more promotional images from the new episode of Smallville "Hero", many of which feature Jimmy Olsen and have been added to the gallery. While promo pics tend to be by nature a bit on the spoiler side, these could be considered to be more "spoilery" (probably not even close to a real word... but it's 5:30 in the morning and I'm still up and tired) then normal.
I was lucky enough to stumble across a Behind the Scenes shot from the next new episode of Smallville, "Hero" and have added it to the gallery. It is a bit on the spoiler side if you haven't read any of the casting information or the full description of the episode. So I won't be posting a thumbnail in this entry either, but you have been warned. ;)
On Wednesday February 20, Inkworks will be releasing their Smallville Season Six Trading Cards. In addition to being featured on cards in the base set, there is also a special Autograph Card for Aaron and a Pieceworks Card, containing a swatch of the shirt worn by Aarn on-screen in "Wither".
Happy belated Valentine's Day everyone! We've been pretty busy over here at Aaron-Ashmore.com the past few days. We did a little remodeling and added two new top affiliates to the site -- welcome Allison Mack Web and Joe-Anderson.net -- and added the link for the newly launched Official Site for The Stone Angel. In addition to The Stone Angel releasing in Canada on May 9, 2008 the site lists a couple of film festival screenings as well.
Female Eye Film Festival - Opening Film

Palm Beach Film Festival
April 10 - 17
Good morning boys and girls. Just a quick, mostly text related update here. So, there's been some project rumors circulating around the internet recently mostly stemming from Wikipedia with some bleed over into IMDB and we'd just like to clear the air.
Aaron is not, I repeat not involved in the CW's new animated series The Spectacular Spider-Man. Trust us on this one. ;)
Also I've added another one of Aaron's headshots to the gallery. A higher-res photo is in the works.
I added over 100 screencaps from the three CWSource Blog Video Interviews with Aaron to the gallery. This officially brings our gallery to over 9,000 pictures. Expect copies of the video interviews themselves to be appearing in our media section soon. We're currently working out some kinks with our video capture software. In addition, once this is working, you can expect some screencaps from Dying to Dance as well.
There is a new video featuring Aaron over at The CW Source. Unlike the previous videos, this one is not actually an interview but one of Aaron and Jason C. touring the set of Clark's house on Smallville. You can also expect a video tour of Lex's mansion shortly as well.
Happy New Year boys and girls! So, things have still been pretty slow over
here at Aaron-Ashmore.com. In fact, we've gone the longest we ever
have without an update (yikes), but with a new year (and, sadly, the
same crappy computer) comes new material and updates and all of that good stuff. For starters, we finally got around to uploading 168 screencaps from "Lara" into the gallery.
So, as you have probably noticed after over a month with the updates page not changing, this
site has come to a slight stand still. Yes, we are still open. Yes, we are still here to give
all Aaron fans the most current information/pictures/interviews, etc., that we can find. Things
have just been a bit slow for a few reasons.
The WGA is currently on strike. Which, unless you've been living under a rock,
you probably already know. This means that Smallville is on a bit of a
hiatus. The next new episode ("Gemini" -- which from what I hear is going to have
some great stuff with Jimmy so be sure to watch) won't be airing until December 13 and then, tentitively,
the next episode to air will be January 31. However, this is all subject to change
at the moment. You can currently support the WGA by going to
Pencils2MediaMoguls.com and buy some pencils in the name of Smallville.
In addition to supporting the WGA, for every pack of pencils that you purchase in Smallville's
name, you are automatically entered in a drawing to win a phone call from Michael
Rosenbaum.
My laptop is currently a very expensive paperweight. Sad, but true. I was unable to
get it back up and running, and more then likely I won't be able to until after Christmas.
I have now gotten an old desktop computer up and running but the emphasis there is on old
which means it's incredibly slow. I did get to upload a few screencaps to the gallery
a while back but, everything now takes almost twice as long as it used to and I haven't had
the time to devote hours and hours to capping and uploading. Hopefully this will be remedied
within the next few weeks.
Home For Christmas has been bumped to November 2008. Old news, yes, but still
true. November was supposed to be the big update month here. Now it looks like it's going to
be April, with the site's anniversary and Creation's Grand Slam Sci-Fi Summitt (
tickets still available!). However, the novelization of Home For Christmas is
currently available in stores. You can order your own copy at Amazon.com.
Once again, big thanks to Donna for providing us with
some information. The CW Source Blog has recently
posted Part 2 of their interview with Aaron so be sure to check it out.
