Welcome to Aaron-Ashmore.com the largest and most comprehensive Aaron Ashmore site on the internet. After being frustrated on a day to day basis looking for Aaron news/media/etc. we figured that it was time we get up and actually do something about it. By creating Aaron-Ashmore.com not only would we be able to spread the most up to date news but we'd also be able to promote Aaron and his upcoming projects. This site is still growing so some sections aren't entirely completed yet. Any and all feedback is appreciated. Feel free to contact the us through E-Mail with any questions/comments/suggestions/submissions. :)
Today's update brings a handfull of behind the scenes pictures from the official I Put A Hit On You Twitter! Again, we can't stress this enough, the movie is great and if you're in or around Park City, Utah you should see if you can check it out at Slamdance this year!
Working on getting some more pages updated. I just moved a bunch of old updates into the archive page and did some clean up over there as well as updating Aaron's filmography page so that it's current.
The latest batch up screencaps includes over 100 screencaps from Lost Girls episode "Masks"...
First and foremost I've done some general cleaning up on the website including, but not limited to, fixing the affiliate section, updating the current projects and resurrecting the "Image of the Month" bit of the sidebar which was definitely not at all done because I just really liked this gif that I made last night when I was trying to fall asleep and sleep wouldn't come no not at all because that would be weird.
Anyway I was lucky enough to attend the cast and crew screening of I Put A Hit On You over the weekend and let me tell you, the movie is great and if you have the opportunity to see it you definitely should. Spread the word!
Other than that I busted out my screencapping software and got back to work. You can check out the results in the gallery with over 80 screencaps from XIII: The Series episode "Revelation"...
Hi again everybody!
So it's been over a year since there was an update to this website and a lot of things have happened since then. I Put A Hit On You along with Big News From Grand Rock were both successfully crowd-funded and filmed. Warehouse 13 is very sadly leaving us and the final season has wrapped filming. Aaron has also had convention appearances galore which means that many of you have been able to meet him!
It turns out that the whole having a grown up job thing is a little overrated and that combined with some volunteer gigs are a little counterproductive to running a fansite. We're not going anywhere and despite the lack of activity there are updates in the pipeline - hundreds of convention pictures, screencaps galore, new articles / interviews, some redesign to the site in general - updates once a week... it's our New Year's Resolution, we swear it! Additional resolutions include no longer using the royal we as the staff actual consists of one person but you know... baby steps. ANYWAY... actual news!
Hey there everyone! We're down to hours left for the I Put a Hit On You campaign so if you haven't contributed yet check it out, this project needs your support! Don't believe us? Check out the video from Aaron below:
I'm very happy to announce that Aaron has just joined the cast of the darkly comedic romantic thriller indie film I Put a Hit On You. Check out the synopsis -
After her marriage proposal to Ray (Aaron Ashmore) is awkwardly rejected, Harper (Sara Canning) gets really drunk and in an attempt to blow off some steam, posts an ad online offering to trade her engagement ring for Ray’s death. The thing is, someone replies. And they sound serious. Fearful of what she might have done, Harper runs to Ray’s apartment in the middle of the night to warn him. At first Ray takes the situation lightly; it’s just some nut job online messing with her. But as the night goes on and a mysterious white van stalks Ray’s apartment, suddenly everything becomes more real. As they try to stay calm and deal with this bizarre situation like regular people, they’re forced to confront the downfall of their relationship and figure out where it all went wrong before the hitman takes away any chance of them ever getting back together. I Put a Hit on You is a darkly comedic, lo-fi romantic thriller. More importantly, it's an honest exploration and deconstruction of a relationship over one really tense and confusing night.
