Welcome to Aaron-Ashmore.com the largest and most comprehensive Aaron Ashmore site on the internet. After being frustrated on a day to day basis looking for Aaron news/media/etc. we figured that it was time we get up and actually do something about it. By creating Aaron-Ashmore.com not only would we be able to spread the most up to date news but we'd also be able to promote Aaron and his upcoming projects. This site is still growing so some sections aren't entirely completed yet. Any and all feedback is appreciated. Feel free to contact the us through E-Mail with any questions/comments/suggestions/submissions. :)
So getting back on track with updates. Nearly 300 screencaps from Smallville's season finale, "Doomsday" have been added to the gallery bringing the image total to over 15,000. Yikes! Also, even though I think it goes without saying that screencaps contain spoilers I'm just throwing that out there. Here be spoilers, arrr.
Yes this actually did warrant its own update and no I didn't want to throw it in with the big "oops, my bad" one.
Aaron recently filmed an episode of the CBS/CTV joint production, The Bridge starring Battlestar Galactica's Aaron Douglas. As of right now, I don't know what episode Aaron will be appearing in, just that he's playing a rookie cop.
I will not talk about the Smallville finale... I will not talk about the Smallville finale...
Hello boys and girls!
As you can tell, the internet's most sporadically updated website has been updated! We've been experiencing quite a few internet issues, as always, which led up to our gallery crashing on Thursday night! Everything now is currently functioning and back to normal so sorry for the scare everyone.
I've come up with a bit of a solution for the gaps in updates to the site. Get off your butt and actually update, you say? Well... yes there is that, but until the day I actually have a consistent schedule... you can now follow Aaron-Ashmore.com on Twitter @AshmoreSite. All site updates, news, appearances, articles, VCR watches etc. will hit Twitter as soon as we hear about them with more details to follow later on the site. Feel free to follow for the latest information or just to say hi. Please note, that much like the site itself, our Twitter account is not maintained/affliated with/endorsed by/yadda yadda yadda Aaron Ashmore. I repeat. Our Twitter is not maintained by Aaron Ashmore.. Sorry to sound like a broken record but it has to be done. :-X
Be sure to check out the media section of this site for the trailer for The Thaw, as well as a few video interviews.
Many updates to the gallery! Including over 400 screencaptures from "Turbulence".
First thing is first, I finally got the Project bar updated! Right now it's only showing on the main page as I'm heading out and Classic FTP kind of crashed on me, so you can expect the rest of the site to be updated tonight.
My copy of Palo Alto (which I refuse to refer to as Palo Alto, CA) finally came in the mail the other day - by the way, thanks Mr. Mailman for leaving it in a pile of snow instead of on the porch, I appreciate it, you are so lucky that Amazon.com box didn't have a book in it I swear - and I managed to screencap the film. Its definitely different from the screening at Tribeca, but its still a great movie and I recommend you check it out as soon as possible. Over 400 captures from the movie can be found in the gallery.
For starters... Palo Alto, CA is now available to buy on Amazon.com!. You can also rent the film with Blockbuster or Netflix in addition to being OnDemand for anyone with Time Warner Cable. Screencaps and more details for the DVD will be posted as soon as my copy actually arrives in the mail. Weather hasn't been that great so it looks like Amazon is taking a little longer then usual to ship.
So this update is a bit screencap heavy since I haven't been around as of late and there isn't too much that I have to add on to it as I'm walking out the door but I wanted to make sure this all got posted before then. Over 200 screencaps from "Abyss" have finally been added to the gallery.
Happy New Year everyone! Can you believe this site has been around since early 2006? Crazy, it doesn't feel that long at all.
As always, the past updates have been moved into the archive with the start of the new month. The project bar will be updated within the next few days as well as the quote of the month.
In more exciting news, the trailer for The Thaw has been released! You can view it on YouTube (I would strongly recommend the "High Quality" version), as well as download it from our very own trailer archive in our media section.
A month since the last update does not a good webmaster make. Yes, I know (in semi-Yoda speak and everything). Screencaptures from Smallville's "Abyss" and "Bride" are a ork in progress. However, I currently have a bigger project which includes attempting to remove the 2,000+ spam accounts from the forum. To be honest its taking longer then I've expected but I'm only one person so I suppose it makes sense.
Now onto the more exciting part of this update, which is that Palo Alto has finally gotten its release date. The DVD will release on February 17, 2009. It will be Rated: R and have a run time of 95 minutes. The film also seems to have gotten a title change, albeit a slight one, from Palo Alto to Palo Alto, CA.
Having had the pleasure of seeing this movie at the Tribeca Film Festival in spring last year, I would strongly recommend this film to anyone. It ranked as one of my Top Films of 2007, and while many might argue that I am biased, it doesn't change the fact that this film was entertaining and had heart. You can currently pre-order your copy at Amazon.com
While more content from the Christmas Cottage DVD is underway, in the mean time you can enjoy three new promo images from the upcoming Smallville episode, "Bride". They are, as always, in the gallery, and let me just get slightly off topic here for a second just to say... how pretty does Allison Mack look in these? I mean really. The pictures are cute. I'm a girl, I'm allowed to go off on this sort of tangent, ok? :[
So its November boys and girls! With the changing of the month, as always there have been a few changes to the site. The updates at the bottom of the page have been moved to the archive and a new quote has been added. I also rearranged some of the projects on the sidebar to correlate with their release dates. There's now also a link to Amazon.com for several DVD releases for easy click and buy access. If you've poked around the gallery the past few days you might have noticed some additions which I'm finally getting around to adding on the news page, including nearly 200 screencaps from "Prey".
Since sleep is quite obviously for the weak, I've added over 250 screencaps from Smallville's "Committed to the gallery. Maybe its the lighting, or because I'm tired, or maybe its just since its that time of year, but do some of the caps from this make anyone else think of Saw? Maybe it is just me. :-X
Be sure to tune in to Smallville this week to see Aaron in "Identity"
I'm in the process of catching up from being, well, quite ridiculously behind in screencaps. In the meantime, you can check out an interview with Aaron by Geekscape during Screamfest over at YouTube. (woo that was a lot of bold print there, wasn't it?). This was brought to our attention by all the lovely people over at ashmoreWANK. So, once again, thanks guys! I do miss things every now and then, so it is great to have some extra eyes out there. :)
Over 170 screencaps from Smallville's "Instinct" have been added to the gallery. Bringing the grand total of images to over 12,000.
There is a new interview with Aaron up at The CW Source, it is apparently a part one of two so expect more to come. :) Screencaps will eventually follow as well.
Two new hi-res production stills from Thomas Kinkade's The Christmas Cottage have been released and been added to the gallery. There is also apparently new clips from the movie on the Official Site that feature Aaron. However, the site sort of hates on Safari for whatever reason so I have not been able to view them.
Thomas Kinkade's The Christmas Cottage releases on DVD November 11, and The Stone Angel releases on DVD October 21.
I'm not entirely sure where I should start here since I've added a lot to the site tonight. I guess, for starters, I should mention that the "monthly changeover" with a new quote and former updates being moved to the archive has been completed.
Both Aaron and Shawn were in attendance at the 8th Annual Screamfest Horror Film Festival earlier this week. As of right now I've added 3 images from this event to the gallery, but I'm in the process of obtaining a few more as well. I also came across a couple of older, but unposted, pictures of Aaron from the 2007 TIFF - "King of California" After Party which have also been added to the gallery.
Speaking of the gallery, I'm slowly working on recovering the Jimmy on Jimmy screencaps from the Smallville Season 7 DVD. I did however manage to upload over 50 screencaps from "Odyssey" to the gallery. As well as a few promotional stills from the upcoming Smallville episode, "Identity".
Finally, an article about The Thaw from ShockTillYouDrop.com has been added to the press section, as always you can read by following the link. The Thaw is tentatively scheduled to release in Spring 2009.
Just a reminder that The Stone Angel will be available on DVD this upcoming Tuesday, October 21.

Aaron-Ashmore.com would like to wish a very happy 29th birthday to both Aaron and Shawn! Have a great one guys! :)
In other news I somehow managed to delete a bunch of the Jimmy on Jimmy screencaps from both the gallery and my hard drive. I'm working on recapping them as well as getting the caps of from the season 8 premiere.
Be sure to tune in to Smallville on October 9, as Jimmy will be in the new episode, "Instinct".
